Because of the nature of most head-on crashes, it’s very rare that neither drivers nor passengers end up getting hurt; especially if there is more than one vehicle involved. According to a report on the KVOA News website, however, when officers from the Tucson Police Department responded to a head-on collision involving three vehicles, all parties involved in the collision were miraculously unharmed.
In a statement issued by the law enforcement agency, the accident occurred on Alvernon Way near the Benson Highway on Wednesday, April 8th, at approximately 11:20 a.m.
At least two of the three vehicles involved in the crash showed significant front end damage. Authorities suspect that one of the vehicles may have collided while one car was attempting to make a turn at the intersection.
Police responded to the scene of the crash, and the vehicles blocked the intersection at Alvernon Way, disrupting traffic and business for locals. Officials indicate that no one in any of the three vehicles was hurt in the crash.
Alvernon Way was blocked off for some time while police investigated and the vehicles and debris were cleared from the area.
There was no indication of alcohol being a factor in this accident, and no further details have been released at this time.
