When traveling, it is exceedingly important to be wary of surroundings: adhere to speed limits and traffic signs. No matter how safe a vehicle itself may be, if care is not taken to avoid hazards on the road, an accident may occur.
Firefighters from both Phoenix and Tempe were called to a crash involving an armored vehicle along State Routes 143 and 202 on Monday. One person was reported to have been killed in the accident.
ABC 15 in Phoenix reports that the crash happened at approximately 2:45 p.m. A spokesperson for the fire fighting agencies said in a statement that at the time that the rollover crash was reported, agencies were already responding to two previous rollover crashes in the same vicinity.
