A Hit-And-Run Accident Left Two Pedestrians Injured, The Driver Is Still At Large

If a driver finds themselves in an accident, whether it involves property damage or injury of another driver, it is always good policy to wait for the police to come and exchange information with all parties involved.
Police in Glendale are still looking for a suspect who hit two pedestrians last week and left the scene. Officials are asking for the public’s help in locating them.
Fox 10 in Phoenix reports that the hit-and-run crash happened on Sunday, June 7th, at the intersection of 67th Avenue and Peoria.
A spokesperson for the Glendale Police Department said in a statement that two pedestrians were walking eastbound and crossing 67th avenue when a white Chevy Suburban was making a left turn from Peoria onto 67th. The SUV struck the pedestrians while they were in the crosswalk. The vehicle did not stop at the scene but kept on driving
Both pedestrians suffered serious injuries as a result of the crash. They were taken to an area hospital for treatment. Their identities were not released at the time of the report.
The vehicle involved in the crash is described as a 2007 to 2014 model year Chevrolet Suburban with chrome wheels, chrome mirrors, and a sunroof. Investigators believe that the SUV may have sustained damage to the mirror on the passenger side of the vehicle as well as minor front-end damage in the area of the front bumper.
