Hackers Can Access Cars With Computers

If you have a new fancy car with internet connection- listen up!

Hackers recently took control over a Jeep Cherokee from 10 miles away using their computer. They can control the accelerator, radio, windshield wipers, and more. Ultimately, they were able to shut down the Jeep entirely.

It’s more important than ever to keep yourself safe from hackers by protecting your computer, homes, phones, and now your car!

Keep your vehicle safe by:

  • Locking your doors at all times
  • Never downloading third party software’s onto your car
  • Reach out to your car manufacturer and ask about recalls.
