Gem Show 2016

The annual, global Gem and Mineral Show is here and it is bigger than ever before!

Haven’t been to the Gem Show before?!

Well you don’t want to miss it while it’s in town and thousands of people all over the world travel to Tucson in hopes of buying and selling precious stones!

When we say all over the world, we mean it! The Gem show takes over Tucson for nearly two weeks, inviting Gem and Mineral traders, vendors and sellers worldwide to bring their most delightful stones to display and sell!

So Here’s what you need to know…

It’s More Than One Show

“Gem Show” sounds like a single site, but the Tucson Gem, Mineral & Fossil Showcase happens all across town at more than 40 sites, from giant halls to hotels and sprawling camps of roadside exhibit tents. Almost all shows are free and open to the public!

Yes, There’s a “Main Event”

The Tucson Gem and Mineral Show® packs the downtown Tucson Convention Center for the final weekend of this two-week mineral madness, pulling in thousands of treasure hunters from every corner of the globe.

Free seminars and a Junior Education Area make this show a big draw for families, too!

It’s Not Just for Pros & Nerds

Gem Show brings top collectors from around the world, but it’s the cool factor that makes it the biggest event of its kind.

Thousands of people from all walks of life come to gawk at gold, oooh over opals, and dig dinosaur fossils so amazing that museums get jealous.

It’s Happening Twice a Year

The giant Tucson gem show has always been and still is at the start of the year, but there’s growing momentum for a second showcase in the fall, too!
