Fox Sues Netflix Over Poaching Executive Employees

According to Los Angeles Times, two of Fox’s employees (who were still under contract) were poached to join the Netflix team and now Fox is suing Netflix.

Some might say that breaking an employer contract is between the employee and employer, however, Fox claims,

“We filed this lawsuit because we believe Netflix is defiantly flouting the law by soliciting and inducing employees to break their contracts,” Fox said in a statement. “We intend to seek all available remedies to enforce our rights and hold Netflix accountable for its wrongful behavior.”

Netflix is fighting back claiming that they believe in employee mobility and that a contract should not stop Netflix from adding great people to their team.

What do you think? Does Fox have a right to sue Netflix?
